Actor Sanjay Dutt is all set to launch his own production house after severing ties with Sanjay Gupta's White Feather Films. Gupta and Sanjay have been partners since 2002 and have produced films like Kaante, Musafir, Zinda and Shootout at Lokhandwala.

Sanjay is all set to go solo with his own production house called Sanjay Dutt Productions Private Limited. His father, the late Sunil Dutt had always nursed a desire to revive his banner, Ajanta Arts. Now Sanjay is all set to merge Ajanta Arts into his own banner and hire new and established filmmakers to work with him. The actor's plan is to make two kinds of films –complete masala films and films that Duttsaab loved making like Mujhe Jeene Do and Reshma Aur Shera. Sanjay reportedly already finalized the first film. His sisters Namrata and Priya are expected to also play an active role in the production house. As for Gupta, he is like a brother for Sanjay and the actor will continue to act in his films. However he does not want to be a part of White Feather films anymore and is currently sorting out the legal formalities.
