Director Sasi who had given hit films like Sollamale, Roja Koottam has sought for police security with the Chennai commissioner of Police.
He had formally handed over a complaint letter to Mr Nanjil Kumaran and requested to provide him with police protection.
According to his complaint letter, Victor from Nagercoil had sought to work with Sasi as an assistant director in his films but Sasi was not able to comply with the same. This has led Victor to call him over the phone quite frequently and threaten him. Sasi also adds that the frequency of Victor’s calls sometimes exceed even 20 times a day.
Not able to withstand this mental agony, the director has sought the intervention of police help and restore peace in his life. Currently Sasi in involved with a film titled ‘Poo’ and he states that this sort of mental harassment hampers his work.
