Loyola College, Chennai, is celebrating its annual cultural event – Ovations ’07 – at the college campus in Chennai. The two-day event that is scheduled to be held from September 21 to 22 was inaugurated by film star Vikram.

Among the glitterati that attended the occasion were Manorama and Radharavi. Besides, Surya and a host of other celebrities are expected to make it to the events.

Besides being one of the highly regarded educational institutions in the South India, Loyola is also considered to be among the top 10 colleges in India. Interestingly, Loyola has been generous enough to donate its students to the tinsel town. Significant among them being the Kollywood big shots Vikram, Surya, and Vijay.

The sponsors of the cultural event, Oscar Films, have erected a huge set on the campus that was designed by noted art director, Thotta Tharani. Vijay will participate in the valedictory function, according to the college sources.
