The lavish sets of Sudhir Mishra's Tera Kya Hoga Johnny set up at Mukesh Mills in Colaba were washed away by the heavy rains that hit the city over the weekend.

The film's producer Shahnaab Alam incurred heavy losses and a major facelift is underway so that the unit can finish shooting remaining portions of the film. According to Mishra, the film is being made on a very limited budget. The set itself cost them Rs 30 lakh. Even the actors, Soha Ali Khan, Neil Mukesh and Karan Nath, who were supposed to shoot at the location have expressed their concern after they were informed about the ruined sets. The film revolves around the plight of street children and has mainly been shot on this set, which recreated the streets of Colaba Causeway. The sets were leaking and the shooting had to be called off as it had become very hazardous for the cast and crew to shoot under such circumstances. Set designer Gautam Sen and his assistants are working around the clock to restore the sets. It is a huge set and will take some time for the repairs to be completed.

Several other shooting schedules were also disrupted by the heavy rains that lashed the city. Vivek Vasvani, producer of Dulha Mil Gaya starring Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan, has also had to indefinitely postpone the last schedule of his film. The sequence which has Shah Rukh Khan making his guest appearance is still to be shot as well. Vasvani says that he will start constructing the sets only once the monsoons are over as he has suffered too many losses because of the rains.
