Shriya’s shot into fame much before AVM’s magnum opus Sivaji The Boss, with her Telugu movies and brand endorsements, but acting opposite Rajni has brought her into the limelight like never before. Now, Sivaji has crossed the 100-day mark and is still going strong all over the world. So much so that the multi-lingual dubbing plans are still on for the movie and the Hindi version may be the first to come out (it’s noteworthy that Sivaji opened to packed houses and ran that way for a week with NO SUBTITLES OR HINDI DUBBING even in remote regions in North India!), pending director Shankar’s approvals. Interestingly, Shriya is dubbing for herself in the Hindi version and is reportedly very excited about it – Tamil actress Kanihaa had dubbed for Shriya in the original Tamil version. Shriya has a lovely, conversational voice, not too melodious and not too husky. Now, it remains to be seen how the effect will turn out onscreen.
