Malaikottai, the film starring Vishal and Priya Mani in the lead, was specially screened for the Chief Minister Mr. M. Karunanidhi, his wife Dayalu Ammal and son Local Administration Minister M.K. Stalin on Tuesday. The movie is said to be a commercial entertainer with a proper mix of action and humour. Vishal as the protoganist, named Anbu and Priya Mani as Malar are like characters we come across from real life. Vishal has taken up risky shots in his stunts and even had an accident during the making of the movie. Vishal is attempting comedy in Malaikottai for the first time and is looking forward to how audiences react. Priya Mani, the lead lady, plays the role of an engineering student in Malaikottai. After playing Muthazhagu in Paruthi Veeran, Malaikottai is her next successive movie. Bhoopathi Pandian, director of Malaikottai, has worked hard to make it a thorough entertainer. He has particularly sharpened the dialogues and is forthcoming to incorporate CM's advice to cut a particular scene towards the end to make the movie more crisp and appealing. The director was all praise for the keen observations by the C.M. and his compliments. Malaikottai is releasing tomorrow.
