AVM Productions' Sivaji completed 100 days recently.
The film was made in the diamond jubilee year of the production house. What also makes the film special is that 2007 also marks the birth centenary of the founder of AVM Productions, AV Meiyappan.
Superstar and AVM have made 8 films together prior to Sivaji. The 168th film of AVM is also the 9th directorial venture for Shankar. In the 80's, Rajinikanth signed 7 films with AVM, all hits and all directed by S.P. Muthuraman.
Rajinikanth is well-known at AVM and the entire film fraternity for his punctuality and humility.
