Through director Sasi's 'Rojakoottam,' this beauty was introduced to Tamil films. She starred in Telugu and Hindi films too but put in an appearance in 'Badri' and 'Sillunu Oru Kaadhal.'

Hailing from Mumbai, it was a turning point for Bhoomika in her life, when she met yoga master Bharat Thakur. They fell in love and were quite happy to romance with each other for the past 4 years. They have finally decided to tie the knot on Oct 25.

This news has leaked out from Bhoomika's friends, though the couple concerned have themselves remained secretive about it. When questioned, they give the slip by saying any announcement would be made to the press after 10 days or so.
