It is widely believed that OM SHANTI OM is the new name of Farah Khan's older project, HAPPY NEW YEAR. But that is far from the truth, as HAPPY NEW YEAR never happened. As per the choreographer-director, the idea for OM SHANTI OM incubated in just two weeks and everything fell into place.Coming back to HAPPY NEW YEAR, Farah Khan has definite plans of making it in the near future and says that she has not shelved it at all. But right now all her attention is focused on her 'diwali' release, OM SHANTI OM. And going by the reactions to the audio and the promos of the movie, one feels that Farah was right in giving it priority over HAPPY NEW YEAR!
