New Delhi, October 1 (ANI): Action-comedy franchise 'Rush Hour' might have given you cramps in your stomach out of laughter, but it has failed to impress actor Jackie Chan.
The star revealed that he worked in the 1998 series only to test the US market.
He said that he did not like the action scenes in the movie, which were too Americanised, because he did not understand the American humour.
"When we finished filming, I felt very disappointed because it was a movie I didn't appreciate and I did not like the action scenes involved. I felt the style of action was too Americanized and I didn't understand the American humour," the China Daily quoted Chan as saying in a blog entry on his Web site.
He revealed that he starred in the first 'Rush Hour' flick because he was offered an "irresistible" amount of money.
Chan also said that he did the third instalment of the series, which was recently released, only for the satisfaction of his fans.
He, however, clearly stated that he considered 'Ruch Hour 3' to be of the same value as the first two instalments.
"Nothing particularly exciting stood out that made this movie special for me ... I spent four months making this film and I still don't fully understand the humour," he said. (ANI)
