London, Oct 2 (ANI): Troubled singer Britney Spears has been asked to hand over the physical custody of her two kids to ex-hubby Kevin Federline 'temporarily until further order of the court'.

On Oct 1, Judge Scott Gordon ordered the pop star to hand over her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James to the rapper who gains custody from Oct 3.

Now, friends and family members of the singer fear that she might kill herself and are begging her not to do anything silly.

"Britney looked totally shocked and stunned. She kept driving round in circles and a few times she had near-misses," the Sun quoted a source, as saying.

"She looked lost, mentally and physically. Her mum has been calling her frantically. Lynne is terrified Britney will do something stupid," the source added.

On the other hand, K Fed, who cited the pop star's bizarre behaviour to win the custody battle, is delighted with his victory.

"Kevin believes Britney is endangering their sons. This is a huge victory for him, and a big shock for Britney," a source close to K--Fed said.

"She never expected to lose her kids. Kevin's delighted. He feels they will be a lot safer with him," the source added.

Spears is expected to challenge the ruling. (ANI)
