Actor-producer Akshay Kumar, his wife Twinkle Khanna, Rinkie Khanna and Dimple Kapadia have been reportedly summoned to appear before a magistrate on December 4 with regards to the case of domestic abuse filed by late Rajesh Khanna's live-in partner Anita Advani.
In her complaint, Advani had accused the Khanna family of domestic abuse and alleged that Khanna's family had forcibly evicted her from his bungalow 'Ashirwad'. She also requested that she be granted protection under the Domestic Violence Act and allowed access to 'Ashirwad', where she claims to have lived with Khanna since 2003.
Sources claim that the magistrate assigned to the case is quite keen on the parties arriving at an amicable statement and has hence summoned Akshay Kumar and the others for their views on a settlement, if possible.
