In 2002, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan had played the role of a banker, who plans a robbery at the same bank after being sacked from the job in Aankhen. Now, it seems that the makers of the film are keen to come up with a sequel to the movie, which would star other big stars as well.
A source claims that Apoorva Lakhia will be helming the sequel project and the film will be produced by Eros and Raj Taru. Lakhia confirmed the news but refused to divulge any details about the cast by saying that nothing has been confirmed yet. The sequel will star Big B and will revolve around a heist adventure.
Aankhen had been directed by Vipul Shah and had actors Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal apart from Bachchan.
