    'Argo' wins Best Film at BAFTA

    London, Feb. 11 (ANI): 'Argo' beat competition from 'Lincoln,' 'Les Miserables' to win the Best Film award at the BAFTA's.

    The thriller film also helped Ben Affleck win the Best Director award, his first BAFTA, the Mirror reported.

    Emmanuelle Riva won the Best Actress in a leading role for French film 'Amour,' while the Best Actor award was won by Daniel Day Lewis for his portrayal of former President Abraham Lincoln in film 'Lincoln.'

    'Skyfall' beat 'Les Miserables' to win Outstanding British film.

    Christoph Waltz won the award for Best Supporting Actor for Quentin Tarantino's 'Django Unchained' and the Best Supporting Actress was won by Anne Hathaway for her role in 'Les Miserables.'

    The Rising Star award went to 23-year-old British actress Juno Temple.
