Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Ms Jayalalitha held a press meet today regarding the ban on Kamal Haasan's magnum opus Vishwaroopam. She explained the practical problems faced by the government in providing protection, if the film release in 524 screens. She also assured that the government would do the needful if Kamal Haasan and the Muslim organisations come to an amicable solution. She also cleared airs regarding the reports that the film is banned because the TV rights were not sold to Jaya TV. She rubbished the reports and said that she has nothing to do with Jaya TV. She also clarified that the movie could be released soon after a few cuts.
