Talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has mostly played rustic characters in his films, will be next seen decked out in stylish suits and surrounded by a bevy of gorgeous women in upcoming film Black Currency, which is reportedly set against the backdrop of money-laundering.
Confirming the news, Nawazuddin said that as he comes from a very humble background, it was quite a dream come true for him to play a powerful business tycoon. He also added that he had always dreamed of playing a powerful character, something like Amitabh Bachchan plays in Trishul, which he claims is his dream role.
Nawazuddin was last seen playing a limp hustler named Taimur in Talaash, who gets entangled in a blackmail scheme to earn an easy buck.
