A few days back, we had reported that actor-producer John Abraham had decided to hold a special screening of his upcoming political thriller Madras Cafe for Tamil outfits, who had apprehensions that the film is anti-Tamil. However, it now seems that the screening has made matters worse than before.
Following a special screening of the movie, a Tamil outfit leader claimed that the flick was 'nauseatingly anti-Tamil' and that the film's script looked like one sponsored by the Congress ahead of the Lok Sabha elections to reopen the wounds of the Rajiv Gandhi assassination. The leader also added that they will not allow the film to be screened anywhere in the country.
Directed by Shoojit Sircar, Madras Cafe also stars Nargis Fakhri and revolves around the LTTE issue.
