By IBNS, Glamsham EditorialVeteran Bollywood actor Pran, who was admitted in Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital after he complained of respiratory dysfunction, is recovering fast and will be discharged soon, doctors said on Tuesday.
Actor Raza Murad, who visited Pran on Monday, was quoted as saying by a leading publication, "I met him at the hospital. I also met his daughter Mrs Pinky Bhalla. She is looking after him so well. He is on the 9th floor and being well looked-after. They are all hopeful of taking Pran saab home in a day or two."
"It was nothing but a minor respiratory problem brought on by the smoke during Diwali," he said.
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan also visited the actor in the hospital and said he is fine. "Paid a visit to Pran Saheb in hospital .. he is fine .. spent an hour with him joking and talking of times past and present," Bachchan tweeted. "All those making speculative remarks on Pran Saheb being critical .. get your facts right before going public .. most irresponsible," he added.
According to sources, Pran on Monday was on a regular check-up visit at the hospital when he was admitted for respiratory problems.
