Putting an end to speculations that Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap was asked to leave Dabangg 2 following some creative differences, Salman Khan today revealed that he had asked Abhinav to direct the sequel.
In an interview, when asked about why Abhinav is not a part of the sequel project, Salman was quoted saying that he had asked the director to helm the sequel and had also asked him to not heed the advice of those, who were 'tutoring' him to not be a part of the sequel.
Dabangg 2 is directed by Arbaaz Khan and stars Salman opposite Sonakshi Sinha. The film is slated to release on December 21.
