Buzz is that Sonam Kapoor suggested Ameesha Patel's name for the part opposite her father Anil Kapoor's character in the upcoming film, Race 2. Sources revealed that the makers were really confused over who to pick for that particular role. With Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone and Jacqueline Fernandez already being a part of the film, they needed someone who could fit the role opposite Anil.
Anil's daughter finally came up with a suggestion. She thought Ameesha looked good and had maintained herself well over the years, so she was perfect for the part. Anil Kapoor welcomed the suggestion and took it forward to the producer Ramesh Taurani. And finally, Ameesha was picked!
