Sunny Deol and Yash Raj Films (YRF) are on good terms yet again. 20 years ago, Sunny was apparently miffed with the production house for sidelining him in Yash Chopra's Darr, which turned out to be a game-changer for Shah Rukh Khan's career. Sunny believed that YRF had given Shah Rukh's role more prominence in the film, and so, did not speak to the makers for almost two decades. Moreover, Sunny wasn't even present for director Yash Chopra's funeral and prayer meets. While Deol had patched up with Shah Rukh, with Subhash Ghai playing mediatior, a few years ago, he had not been in touch with YRF or Aditya Chopra.
However, Sunny recently approached Aditya regarding the music rights of his upcoming film, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2. Sources reveal that YRF has bought the music rights of the film, which stars Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Dharmendra.
Sources further added that none of them spoke about the fallout and that both were very keen to work with each other. The music release of Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, which is the sequel to Yamla Pagla Deewana, is slated to happen soon.
