Truce Treat: Kapoor's Sonam Warms Up To Shilpa

A bad nose job. A terrible lip job. And although Shilpa Shetty Kundra reportedly bore the scalpel saga, it was Anil Kapoor who bore the brunt of it, when it all went awry during the filming of Badhai Ho Badhai. What's worse, Kapoor in his trademark style let the (cosmetic surgery) cat out of the bag… thereby ruining relations between Shilpa and him to a great extent. Matters worsened when Kapoor cited Shilpa (ouch!) once again in a telly chat show as "the worst case of botox," thereby aggravating the cold vibes between them.

For a while, there was little love lost between Shilpa and the Kapoors, who pointedly ignored each other. Kapoor's dearest daughter Sonam, however, could reverse all that if a recent tid bit is to be believed.

As per insiders, Shilpa and her hubby Raj showed up at a suburban Mumbai restaurant for a fine dining experience. A few minutes later Sonam sashayed in with her sister Rhea. As soon as Sonam spotted Shilpa, she reportedly went up to the actress entrepreneur and warmly greeted her.

States an eye witness present at the restaurant, "Sonam sat down with them for a good ten minutes and advised them on the menu. She's a regular at the restaurant and knows the dishes like the back of her hand. In fact, Sonam and Shilpa met like long lost friends. They seemed to have warmed up to each other, because when Shilpa and Raj finished their dinner and were to leave, they did go up to Sonam and wished her goodbye."

Who's next? Papa Kapoor waving a white peacemaker flag, perhaps...
