A man walks past a shop of Chopard, a luxury jeweller in central Cannes May 17, 2013. More than $1 million (656 thousand pounds) worth of jewels due to be lent to movie stars at the Cannes film festival were stolen from a Novotel hotel room in the French Riviera town, a police source said.The jewels were in the safe of the room rented by an employee of Chopard, a luxury jeweller, the source said on condition of anonymity.
