Pushkar's markets - the flip side of a tourist trap
Pushkar is always synonymous with either the Brahma temple with its pristine lake or the carnival-like cattle fair. However, on a damp rainy day I walked around the markets of Pushkar to find an eclectic and kitschy side to the town. It starts out as a bright and colourful lane of shops selling sweets and souvenirs but turns out to be a bit dark and funky. Here is a montage of images from Pushkar market.
