Toronto thunderstorms leave hundreds stranded in flooded commuter train
Flash flooding in Toronto, Canada, left hundreds of commuters stranded when the train they were on got stuck in floodwaters. Passengers fled to the top level of the double-decker train as floodwater gushed into the bottom carriages. The stranded commuters were rescued several hours later. Severe thunderstorms have flooded tube stations, major roads and cut power to at least 300,000 homes in Toronto.
