Malati informs Srijon that Bhasha has received his letter. Unable to find the letter in the room, Srijon becomes annoyed. Srijon asks Bhasha about the letter. Ria and Moinak blame Bhasha for the letter's disappearance. Bhasha becomes disheartened as Srijon abuses her for being illiterate. Mohit provides confidence to Bhasha on seeing her weeping. Ria and Rumila provoke Srijon to throw out Bhasha from Lahiri residence. Bhasha becomes shocked as Srijon regrets marrying her.
