Kanka becomes delighted on learning that Moon is Baha's teacher and requests her to stay in her house. Moon lies to Kanka that Archi's family has accepted Baha as his wife. During the anjali ritual, Baha prays to Goddess Durga for Moon's wellbeing. Later, she insists on participating in the traditional Dhunuchi dance competition. Baha becomes angry and beats some of the local boys when they tease her.
