Swara informs the police about Sonakshi's murder in their office. Inspector Yashodhan interrogates Swara and her colleagues Rina and Arnav. Swara informs him that Sonakshi came to the office for an interview while they were going on a lunch break. The police interrogate the manager, Rahul. They interrogate Sonakshi's step-sister Pinky who informs them about Sonakshi's love affair with Tushar. The police suspect Swara and Arnav. Arnav confesses that he killed Sonakshi in a fit of anger.
