The police interrogate Jayant Sabnis at a check post and find out that his son, Sagar is kidnapped. They question Sabnis' maid Shobha and watchman Hariram. Sabnis agrees to pay the ransom but doesn't get Sagar back. They inform Jayant that Sagar's body was found. The police find out from the delivery boy of an ice cream shop that he had delivered the order placed by Hariram and Shobha to Rohan Desai. Rohan reveals that he, along with Mrs. Sabnis, had killed Sagar as they were in love.
