Soham witnesses Kalyani slapping Rani and asks her to leave the house. Soham tells the family members about Kalyani's behavior but no one is ready to believe it. Kalyani shares her grief with Chintamani and reaches the police station. The inspector refuses to listen to Kalyani and argues with her while Devaki enters. Rupali and Chintamani converse on the telephone and gossip. Devaki assures the inspector that she will prove that Rani is posing as Rajlaxmi.
