Debraj becomes shocked on seeing Ratul as the chief guest for the Bijaya program instead of him. He becomes irate and yells at Tikli as Ratul is felicitated with garland and bouquet bought from his money. The audience enjoys Tapur and Payel's dance performance. Gayatri insults Tapur by presenting her bell anklets. Payel becomes pleased as Ratul compliments her dance. Debraj threatens Tapur that he will harm Aradhya. Ratul feels sad as his village cannot celebrate Diwali due to poverty.
