    After the new TV series on Mahabharat,a first ever animation film is being made with voiceovers done by big names from the film industry.The character of Draupadi will be seen getting the voice of the diva of B-town, Vidya Balan. Once the actress agreed upon being associated with the character for the film, the animation of the character was enhanced and worked upon in order to make it look closest to Vidya Balan.

    The actress’ attributes were added to the animated character of Draupadi, so that there is co-ordination between what the audience hears and watches on screen.The film will be the biggest animation film and it is for the first time that the sacred book’s characters will be animated on the silver screen.

  • Ranveer Singh down with dengue

    Ranveer singh contracts a severe case of dengue and has been admitted into a Mumbai hospital

    Ranveer contracted an infection and high fever during the Durgapur shoot of 'Gunday' but chose to continue to shoot as per the schedule inspite of the illness and discomfort, so as to not cause any inconvenience and loss to the production. On his return to Mumbai he was diagnosed with a severe case of dengue fever. He is presently admitted in a suburban hospital.

    Hospital sources expressed their surprise at his having continued to work inspite of his severe condition, though it cannot be presently said how long it will be before he is back in action, he is in a very positive state of mind as usual.

    India's entry to Oscars is always riddled with controversy and this year is no different

    When Gyan Correa's debut film 'The Good Road' left behind films like 'The Lunchbox', 'Ship of Theseus' 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' and 'English Vinglish', not everyone was cheering and most let their displeasure known through the social networking sites. Karan Johar who presented 'The Lunchbox' was quick to post on twitter 'Really shocked and dissapointed....#LUNCHBOX had every factor working in its favour...we may have just lost our golden chance....SAD!!!'. Soon to follow suit was Anurag Kashyap who posted "Feeling very, very disappointed, can't comment on the film I have not seen, but it better make it to final five... I hope and pray I am wrong and it actually is a film that knocks the socks off everyone," and followed it up with, "I don't know who the federation is. But it goes to show, why we completely lack the understanding to make films that can travel across borders."

    Bollywood's first ever female detective is here and it is none other than Vidya Balan who is all set to portray the character. Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha have signed the firebrand actress for their forthcoming feature Bobby Jasoos, to be produced under their banner Born Free Entertainment. Vidya Balan plays the lead in a story that marks the arrival of India's first Lady Detective.

    "I found the idea of a lady detective irresistible as I did the title Bobby Jasoos" says Vidya Balan.
