Aamir Khan Wants To Make A Film On Mahabharata Someday

23 November 2012

A few years back, acclaimed director Prakash Jha had made political drama Raajneeti, which was supposed to be loosely based on the great Indian epic Mahabharata and now, it seems that actor-producer Aamir Khan has also expressed a desire to be a part of a film adaptation of the epic.

In a recent interview, Khan said that he has always been fascinated with the Mahabharata and that its his desire to make a film project based on it. He however added that he is scared to take up the project as he feels that if he agrees to do so, he will have to give atleast 20 years for it as the initial five years would be spent in research itself.

Aamir Khan, who has often been called the ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ of Bollywood because of his attention to detail, will be next seen in Talaash, where he will play a cop, who is haunted by memories of his past.
