Akshay Kumar To Be Paid Rs. 50 Crore For Thupakki Remake!

Actor-producer Akshay Kumar, who has become a much sought-after performer after his terrific box office hits like Housefull 2, Rowdy Rathore, Khiladi 786 and the recently released Special 26, has become the highest paid actor after the makers of the Thupakki remake agreed to pay him a fee of Rs. 50 crore!

Sources claim that the makers of the film were so keen on roping him in for the remake that they agreed without hesitation to pay the price that the Khiladi was asking for. Incidentally, the amount that Kumar is charging is more than what Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan demand, which is around Rs. 30-40 crores.

Apart from the Thupakki remake, Akshay will be seen playing a role based on underworld kingpin Dawood Ibrahim in Milan Luthria's Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2.
