Amit Sadh on KAI PO CHE!: I have managed to be pure

By Joginder Tuteja, Glamsham Editorial

Though he has been seen in films like PHOONK 2 and MAXIMUM in the past, it wasn't quite a terrific kick-start for Amit Sadh in the world of films. The actor insists though that despite such small steps being made, he knew all along that he was headed in the right direction and instead of getting deviated from his plans, he continued to move on.

"In any case I had stopped planning in life long time back so no complaints. In fact this delay only complimented my growth as an actor. I wanted to work hard and be honest. As an actor and a person, I have managed to be as pure as possible in the current scenario and situations," says Abhishek, KAI PO CHE! is an outcome of that."

Meanwhile one can also be sure of the fact that his decision making became even easier since Abhishek Kapoor was at the helm of affairs.

"Of course," admits Amit, "To have a national award winning filmmaker direct you and a production house like UTV backing you is special indeed. When I met Gattu sir (Abhishek), I knew within first 20-30 minutes itself that he was carrying a lot of clarity about the film, story and the character. I was committed there and then."

Now one looks forward to audience acknowledging this commitment as well once the film releases all over this Friday.
