Amitabh Bachchan will be singing live at the Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai, on 30th January, 2013, the Martyrs' Day, during the 'Global Sounds For Peace Concert'. It will be a special song about peace and revolution in raag Basanti. And if there is someone who is really confident and proud of his singing prowess, even more than Big B himself, it's the singer-composer Aadesh Srivastav.

The concert will see compositions of Aadesh Srivastav being rendered and sung by top of the line musicians and singers including Dr. L. Subramanyam, Kavita Krisnamurthy, Shaan, Shankar Mahadevan,Roop Kumar Rathod, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kailash Kher, and others. Vijayta Pandit and Padmini Kolhapure will also lend their voices to a song apart from the younger members of the composer's family. The concert is homage to Mahatma Gandhi and the martyrs of 26/11 Mumbai attack including the brave heart police and NSG commandos who laid their lives for the call of duty and saved the city.

These original Songs are part of 'Global Sounds for Peace' music album created by Aadesh Srivastav with most of the lyrics written by Sameer. The London Philharmonic Orchestra and its conductor David Murphy have also been involved with the project, which is a first for an Indian composer. Most of the songs are based on Indian ragas and represent a fusion of Indian music and western orchestral arrangements.

The proceeds of the concert will go to a Police benefit fund.
