Bollywood supertsar Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya Bachchan, who have created magic whenever they have come together in movies and have made Holi songs like rang barse from Silsila a major hit with their presence, will be working the same Holi magic once after a period of two decades in the near future.
The couple, who still appear together in advertisements, have recently shot for a song sequence of a Bhojpuri film titled Gangadevi, which is being made by the Big B's make up man Deepak Sawant. The song was apparently shot before Bachchan's hospitalization and subsequent surgery.
An excited Sawant was quoted to have said, "Whenever Amitji and Jayaji have appeared together for any Holi song, they have created wonders and the result has been phenomenal. There was great excitement while the song was being shot and I even wanted Amitji to sing the song, but he was not in town most of the time, so it has been sung by Sudesh Bhosle."
Amitabh Bachchan, who had been admitted to the hospital for two abdominal surgeries, was recently discharged and is back home with his family.
