Amy Winehouse's goddaughter wants to carry on her legacy

London, Feb. 3 (ANI): Amy Winehouse's goddaughter Dionne Bromfield, who is on a pilgrimage to St Lucia, said that she wanted to continue the troubled singer's legacy.

According to Bromfield it is an awful lot of pressure but also a massive compliment to think that she could carry it.

The 17-year-old said that she was the last person she was with her on stage and automatically people felt like it said something.

To get inspiration for her third album and pay tribute to Amy, who died on July 23, 2011, Bromfield made the emotional journey to the Caribbean island, Winehouse's second home.

Her pilgrimage included a tear-jerking meeting with the late singer's "second mama" Marjorie Lambert, 58, who runs a bar next to Cotton Bay Village Resort, where Winehouse lived on and off for almost three years.

After visiting several other places which Winehouse loved, including Skuttlebutts restaurant, Rodney Bay and the Le Sport hotel, Bromfield revealed she has paid tribute to Winehouse by writing a song about her for her upcoming third album.

She said that the song is called 'Black Butterfly,' as there was a black butterfly that flew in at Winehouse's funeral and landed on Kelly Osbourne's shoulder.

She added that the butterfly stayed there for the whole service then flew out as soon as the service was over. (ANI)
