Anil Kapoor Borrowed Cop?s Clothes For 'Shootout At Wadala' Role

It is a well-known fact that actor Anil Kapoor, who will be next seen playing the role of police officer Issaq Bagwan in upcoming gangland flick Shootout At Wadala, has been interacting with the cop in order to get under his skin for the role.

However, what many people might not know is that Kapoor actually went a step ahead and borrowed some of Bagwan’s clothes and accessories for the role so as to lend authenticity to the character in the film. Confirming the news, Kapoor added that it is quite tough to play a real life character as one has to accurately imbibe the person’s mannerisms and characteristics. He further said that interacting with Bagwan helped him to understand the character and his thought process.

Shootout At Wadala dramatizes the first ever recorded encounter in the history of Mumbai Police wherein dreaded gangster Manya Surve was shot dead near a college in Wadala. John Abraham will be seen playing the role of Surve in the film whereas Sonu Sood will be seen playing a young Dawood Ibrahim.
