Actor Annu Kapoor was awarded the prestigious Filmfare Award on Sunday in the Best Actor in Supporting Role category. He was awarded for his performance in Soojit Sircar's film VICKY DONOR.

"Awards always motivate and make you want to up your game. VICKY DONOR will always be a very special film for me because this is the film where the story is the hero and this fact has been proven now. Soojit has done a brilliant job with the story and everyone who was a part of this film is a winner," said Kapoor. This is Kapoor's second award of the year for VICKY DONOR. He was earlier awarded Screen Award for Best Actor in a Comic Role for the same film.

After giving a powerhouse performance in VICKY DONOR last year, Kapoor will be seen ticking everyone's funny bones again in YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA 2 alongside Dharmendra, Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol this summer.

"I am willing to entertain the people all the time as long as one character is different from another and makes me want to portray it," says Kapoor.
