Sources recently revealed that actor Arshad Warsi, who was seen playing a police officer in Kabeer Kaushik's cop drama Sehar, was the original choice to play the role of Arun Inamdar, which is now being played by veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah in Kaushik's Maximum.
Confirming the news, Kabeer Kaushik was quoted saying, "That was long ago. Warsi and Shah were seen together in Ishqiya and will be sharing screen space again in the sequel Dedh Ishqiya.
Maximum, which releases this weekend, revolves around the one up-manship between two police officers, played by Sonu Sood and Naseeruddin Shah.
