By Glamsham EditorialThe most anticipated film of the year BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG is in the news again for their charity work. The makers of the film Viacom 18 and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra have promised to donate Rs. 5 crores to former Olympian Milkha Singh's charity, if the film manages to yield any profit at the box office.
Earlier, they were planning to give 20 per cent of the film's profit to the charity that works for women in rural areas.
It indeed was unique for the makers to take such a step towards the benefit for the people that too women. Very few share the profits earned and the makers are really glad that they can contribute to Milkha's charity in some way.
"Earlier the producers had committed that a part of the film's profits will go to the charity. But now we know for sure that they will donate at least Rs. 5 crores. If the profits are more, then the contribution will also go up substantially," a source said.
"I had requested Rakeysh if some portion of the earnings (from the film) can be donated into the charity. I am happy that it is finally happening," said Milkha Singh.
