Celebrity Libra: Ranbir Kapoor

When he first appeared on the silver screen with just a towel wrapped around his chiselled torso, he had the entire female population of the country swooning for him. And the moment he dropped that towel, he just took their breath away! Ranbir Kapoor had signaled his arrival in Bollywood with his famous towel-dropping act in Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s Saawariya. Although the film bombed at the box-office, Ranbir had ensured that he is bookmarked in the memory of at least the female population of the country, if not all, for the rest of their lives, much like his father did a few decades ago. A `star` was born!

And much to the credit of the chocolate boy of Bollywood, Ranbir has maintained his stardom with some superlative performances in films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Barfi, Rockstar and Rajneeti. He did not just get the girls to throw their hearts out at him with his gorgeous looks but also had the critics going gaga for him with his acting prowess. He acquired himself 5 Filmfare nominations in his first 6 films, including 3 Filmfare Critics Award wins. That, to put it mildly, was incredibly fabulous. And now, Ranbir has the entire nation cheering madly for him, for his new avatar in Besharam, not to mention, he had earlier won many hearts with his incredible performance in the Anurag Basu`s much acclaimed Barfee.

Ranbir is a Libran and his ruling number is 1. His lucky days are Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays. The sun governs this number and those who are born under it are active, original, artistic and brilliant. The ruling planet in Libra is Venus and is associated with beauty, love and desire. He certainly lives up to the qualities associated with the sign of scales with a combination of striking good looks, charm and intelligence.

Till now, 2013 has proved to be a great year for Ranbir and the coming months too promise success for him. He will be seen in many big projects that will bring him critical acclaim as well as success at the box office.
