Bollywood's chocolate hero Imran Khan turns 31 years of age today (Monday).

Imran made several appearances as a child in films like QAYAMAT SE QAYAMAT TAK (1988) and JO JEETA WOHI SIKANDER (1992). He played the role of a young Aamir Khan in both the films.

He aspired to be a filmmaker but debuted as an actor in JAANE TU YA JANE NA in 2008, which was produced by his actor uncle Aamir Khan. His performance in the lead role for his very first film won him the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award.

The actor has also starred in films like KIDNAP (2008) with Sanjay Dutt and Minisha Lamba, and LUCK (2009) with Shruti Haasan, but failed to succeed commercially in both the films.

He tasted commercial success with BREAK KE BAAD, I HATE LUV STORYS, DELHI BELLY, MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN and EK MAIN AUR EKK TU.

His performance as 'Matru' in Vishal Bhardwaj's MATRU KI BIJLEE KA MANDOLA was appreciated. The actor even shed off his chocolate hero avatar to play the character 'Matru' for the film opposite to Anushka sharma.

He was recently seen in two films, ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI DOBAARA and GORI TERE PYAAR MEIN.

The actor's upcoming films are KAJRI and JAANE KYA TUNE KAHI.

We wish the actor a very Happy Birthday!
