Debutant producer confident 'Genius' will succeed

Chennai, Nov 29 (IANS) It may be his first film, but Telugu producer Dasari Kiran has complete confidence in his forthcoming drama "Genius" and its success.

"I have full faith in my director and having seen him working hard for the film, I am very confident of its success. The biggest highlight of the film will be its subject and the way it is presented on the screen. I'm waiting to hear the audience response after the release of the film," Kiran told IANS.

The story of the film will focus on different aspects that change the lives of the younger generation today. In the film, the lives of the protagonists change forever when they tread an unusual path.

"Genius", which is directed by Telugu television anchor−turned−director Ohmkkar, stars Havish, Sanusha, Ashwin Babu, Vinoth and Abhinaya in the lead, while Tamil actor Sarath Kumar will be seen in an important role.

Joshua Sridhar has composed the music for the film, which has cinematography by Diwakaran Raghunathan and story by Chinni Krishna.

Made on a budget of Rs. 11.5 crore, the film is releasing Dec 21.
