London, February 25 (ANI): 'Doctor Who' legend Jon Pertwee waged a secret war against Hitler during the WWII.
His WWII exploits were found in a long-lost recorded interview he gave in 1994, the Sun reported.
The TV Time Lord reported directly to PM Winston Churchill while working on 007-style gadgets in Naval Intelligence alongside James Bond author Ian Fleming.
Jon, the Doctor from 1970 to 1974, said he taught commandos how to use escapology equipment, compasses in brass buttons, secret maps in white cotton handkerchiefs, pipes you could smoke that also fired a .22 bullet.
"All sorts of incredible things. It suited me," the Sun quoted him as saying.
Jon, who died in 1996 aged 76, never spoke publicly of his activities for fear of breaching the Official Secrets Act. (ANI)
