London, Nov 19 (ANI): Eminem has confessed that he is thankful to survive an addiction, as he could have taken another path.

In an interview with Zane Lowe, the 41-year-old rapper claimed that now he is able to connect with audiences again and knows that there are so many addicts in the world with similar problems who don't make it.

He admitted that one thing that keeps pushing him forward is music, and the passion, so he is thankful for that, the BBC news reported.

Eminem had spent time in hospital in 2005 to be treated for an addiction to sleeping pills. (ANI)
