Emraan Hashmi Was Reluctant About Acting Because

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, who has been appreciated for his performance since the past few years for his roles in films such as Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, The Dirty PictureShanghai and Ek Thi Daayan, candidly admitted in an interview that he had neither the intention nor the desire to be an actor.

Emraan said that he had actually wanted to study computer graphics but ended up being an assistant on the sets of Bhatt films. Hashmi added that even as an assistant, he used to hardly work and even when approached by Mahesh Bhatt for acting, he was very reluctant as he had not grown up watching Bollywood films and as such, had no idea about the world of Hindi cinema at all.

Emraan will be next seen opposite Vidya Balan in Ghanchakkar, a heist comedy.
