Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani feel embarrassed with FUKREY title

By Glamsham Editorial

For the first time Excel Entertainment plans to change the title of their forthcoming film FUKREY even after they have launched the poster.

As the makers of the movie FUKREY, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, are more than embarrassed as no one knows the exact meaning of FUKREY. Everywhere they go in industry they are asked about the title and they have to explain what it means.

Everyone in their friend circles and industry feel it's a smart way of saying F@#krey without censor hassles. And they have to actually go to lengths explaining that it means lukha /vella in Delhi or north Indian colloquial language.

Every college student in Delhi or north would recognize the title as a colloquial name for useless guy or wasted guy. However, rest of India is oblivion to this lingo. And since this film's appeal is pan India they would have to find a title that resonates with a lot more people.

A film is always recognized by its title so the producer duo is thinking of changing the title now to avoid the confusion once the communication (theatrical trailer and promos) breaks.
