Film, theatre artists to hold march in Mumbai

Mumbai, Dec 29 (IANS) Theatre and film personalities along with common people will hold a silent march here Saturday following the death of the Delhi gang-rape victim, said veteran actress and social activist Shabana Azmi.

"Citizens of Mumbai including theatre, film personalities lead silent march at 5:30 p.m. today from Juhu Beach Gandhi Statue to Kaifi Azmi Park," Shabana shared on Twitter.

The 23-year-old girl, who put up a brave battle for life after she was gang-raped and brutally assaulted in a moving bus in Delhi Dec 16, died Saturday morning in a hospital in Singapore.
